Coup de Foudre - Cabernet Sauvignon 2018 er et Napa Valley Bourdeaux-blend. Det er en flot, kraftig og tør vin. Et fornemt møde mellem elegance og muskler. Coup de Foudre - Cabernet Sauvignon 2018 byder på noter af sorte kirsebær, blomme, lakrids med en parfumeret, floral finish. Den er næsten for flot at drikke, men omvendt har man jo ingen kulinarisk fornøjelse af den, så længe vinen er på den indvendige side af flasken. Server den sammen med rigtig god tid.

Black Cherry, plum, grilled herbs, licorice, menthol, gravel and scorched earth infuse the 2018 with tremendous character. I would give the 2018 at least a few years in the bottle to soften. Lisa Perotti-Brown for Robert parker i The Wine Advocate: "The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of 88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Merlot and 3% Petit Verdot. Deep garnet-purple colored, it rocks-up out of the glass with open knit scents of blackcurrant pastilles, black raspberries and mulberries plus suggestions of garrigue, potpourri, stewed black tea and fragrant earth. The medium to full-bodied palate delivers soft-textured, juicy black fruit flavors, offering great tension and a perfumed finish. Drink: 2020-2038". Smagt i november 2020.
